Once a year the exhibition series PARTI-cipation takes place at a city or region which is biographically important for one of the artists of the Galerie Hafemann Wiesbaden. Each time the conditions of artistic production, presentation and mediation are examined in dialogue with new spaces and other artistic positions. In 2017, the artist Young W. Song invited four other artists of the Galerie Hafemann and three guests from Korea to develop a specifically designed exhibition in Seoul at Gallery SoSo.

A special anniversary of Galerie Hafemann in 2012 was the reason for starting the exhibition series. The program of the gallery in Wiesbaden was developed and formed for more than 25 years. Each artist of the gallery took a different route to become part of the team, where they are until this day presenting their work in a contemporary context. With the exhibition series the gallery goes back to the place of origin of individual artist. In this way, the Galerie Hafemann already organized exhibitions in Iphofen (Southern Germany), Verduno (Italy), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Óbidos (Brazil) and Fladungen (Germany).

일련의 기획전인 PARTI-cipation은 독일, 비스바덴 소재의 겔러리 하페만 (Hafemann) 소속 작가 중 한 명이 자신의 이력에서 중요한 의미가 있는 장소를 선정하여 매년 열리고 있다. 새로운 장소성과 서로 다른 예술적 입장들은 심도있는 디알로그를 통하여 결과물로서의 작업과 전시 및 소통방식을 결정하는 전제조건으로, 매회 전시마다 새로운 시도를 거듭 한다. 2017년은 작가 송영화가 그의 고향인 서울로 선정하였다. 갤러리 소소와 공동 기획으로 이루어지는 올해 전시는 그를 포함한 하페만겔러리 소속 작가 5인과 3인의 현지 작가들의 또 한번의 특별한 교류전이 될 것이다.
